Data Product Manager
We are seeking a Data Product Manager to lead our data-centric product initiatives and help drive Creditinfo’s success by defining how we harness, interpret, and monetize our strategic asset, data. This new role involves leveraging data to create innovative products and solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Driving Data Initiatives: lead the development and execution of strategic data projects to enhance our product offering.
- Forging Data Partnerships: identifying and establishing key partnerships to enrich our data ecosystem.
- Mapping and Auditing Data Quality: ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data through meticulous mapping and auditing processes.
- Defining Data Lifecycle Best Practices: developing and implementing guidelines for managing the entire data lifecycle, from acquisition to retirement.
- Setting Boundaries for Data Use: establishing clear policies for data utilization that comply with legal, ethical, and business standards.
- Finding Synergies in Data Use: identifying opportunities to leverage data across different areas of the business for enhanced efficiency and innovation.
- Seeing Data as a Product: conceptualizing and developing data-driven products that deliver value to our customers and differentiate us in the market.
- Working Closely with Business and Product Management: understanding and defining data value propositions for varied stakeholders and use cases.
Requirements
- Technical and Data Analysis Proficiency: a strong foundation in data analytics and the technical skills to manipulate and interpret data sets.
- Business Acumen: a deep understanding of how data-driven strategies can impact business outcomes and drive growth.
- Communication Skills: the ability to communicate complex data concepts to stakeholders, facilitate productive discussions. Negotiating skills for data submission and use standards, as well as for forming data partnerships.
- Industry Experience: a proven track record working with data in fintech, banking, insurance, or telecommunications sector/s, demonstrating an ability to navigate and leverage industry-specific data challenges and opportunities.
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of generative AI
- Experience with advanced data modeling and predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations specific to the industries mentioned.
- Experience in leading data teams or cross-functional projects.
