25th Anniversary
For our 25th anniversary we asked our founder Reynir Grétarsson what he has learned so far in his entrepreneurship journey since he founded Creditinfo in 1997.
“I will share one thinking, for life as much as work: How you do things defines the outcome. How is more important than what. Goals should be to improve, rather than a specific target. Sell more, be a better employee, be a better person, father. Don’t set the goal to run a marathon, just run more each week. Marathons will then come to you. Don’t sacrifice your integrity for the outcome.”
What I Have Learned
Don’t sacrifice your integrity for the outcome.

Creditinfo’s Important Milestone in the Eyes of Paul Randall
What a journey Creditinfo has taken over 25 years! From its origins in Iceland to its current position across the world. It is humbling to consider how much responsibility Creditinfo carries as a cornerstone of the financial infrastructure in so many countries. In this role, the company has facilitated the growth of SMEs and access to credit for millions of people who may not otherwise have access to formal credit. Furthermore, the expansion of credit can be achieved in a responsible and secure manner.
We must praise the incredibly diverse and driven team that has achieved this, employees past and present who have worked hard to create and continue to expand Creditinfo. Working daily with such different cultures for a common goal is a real privilege. It is part of the learning experience to listen to other perspectives and better understand diverse approaches to challenges.
I want to say ‘Thank You’ to my colleagues who contribute daily to the development of solid, fair and inclusive financial infrastructures around the world.
Thank You Creditinfo!
